The Tiny Plate provides an open plate design to promote self-feeding + utensil use. The plate supports the traditional method of feeding (purées), as well as the baby-led weaning method of feeding (baby-led strips of food).
We use these for both purées and finger foods, and the open design really lets my daughter grab her own bites without everything sliding off the edge. The plates are sturdy enough that she hasn’t managed to flip one yet, which is a win in our house.
The open design actually works—my daughter can scoop her own puree without it flipping, and the shallow rim lets her grab the food herself. We’ve used them daily for a month now, and the pack of five means I’m never washing one in a pinch.
The set is perfect for my 11-month-old who’s still working on both purées and finger foods—the open sections make it easy for her to grab pieces herself without me worrying about a mess. I also love that they stack neatly in the cabinet, so the five plates don’t take up half the shelf.
